Full-on is the most energetic and melodic branch of 2000s Israeli psytrance: galloping basslines in triplets or sixteenth notes, heroic leads and spectacular breakdowns, all built around 145 beats per minute. The label Hom-Mega was its historic factory and Astrix became its flag-bearer, carrying the sound worldwide through the 2000s. Full-on runs at 145 BPM, sometimes 148, never below 142, and the real signature is the galloping bassline: a saw on Virus or Serum, lowpassed near 300Hz with a lively filter envelope and almost no release, programmed as kick on the first sixteenth, bass on the second, third and fourth, then kick alone on the next beat with bass on three and four only, or the triplet version, kick on the first triplet, bass on the other two. Kick and snare need to punch through a packed rig at noon, so layer a sharp click onto a synthetic kick body and compress hard at 8:1, with a big snare and long eight-bar snare rolls before every drop. Build a heroic lead from a detuned saw unison playing a natural minor melody with long upward bends, softened by saturation and delay.
