Rotjecore

Hardcore gabber netlabel from Rotjeknor (slang for Rotterdam, The Netherlands). The netlabel was founded in 2020 as a playful nod to Rotterdam and the historic role it played in shaping the gabber scene. Its founder, born in Rotterdam in 1980 and having spent most of his life in the city, consciously witnessed the golden years of Rotterdam’s hardcore scene. In essence, the label is a gimmick project paying tribute to Rotterdam Records. Although it has featured various hardcore subgenres, its primary focus remains on the distinctive sound of the 1990s. Founded by Mathijs Kroon aka X-Cell 02. Label logo by OxAlien.
